*Laparoscopic Surgery  also called Minimally Invasive Surgery or ‘Key Hole’ Surgery is a specialized technique for performing surgery. Compared to traditional open surgery, patients often experience less pain, a shorter recovery, small incisions and less scarring with laparoscopic surgery. Patients will be assessed during consultation stage and the surgeon will determine if laparoscopic surgery is the ideal route to take, depending on the type of surgery required. Examples of surgeries performed using the laparoscopic method;

  – Hernia Surgery
  – Bowel Resection
  - Gallbladder removal
  - VATS – Video Assisted Thoracic Surgery
